Save wilderness national parks in the Blue Mountains from being flooded

Are you passionate about wilderness protection?

Are you interested in providing leadership and coordination for a campaign team and have experience with campaign planning, political advocacy, and community engagement?

Contracted position 26 weeks, 32 hours/week at $43.80 per hour inclusive of GST 832 hours total - renewable

The organisation

You will be working for the Colong Foundation for Wilderness, a non-profit, non-government charity that champions the conservation, restoration and celebration of wilderness and wild places, and the management of wilderness for intrinsic values.

The role

The Kowmung campaigner will plan and coordinate the work of individuals and organisations to secure effective flood management that does not further damage World Heritage listed wilderness national parks in the Blue Mountains and prevents the raising of the Warragamba Dam wall.

The position leads the Colong Foundation’s Don’t Raise the Dam campaign.
