Bequest Information

Effective wilderness campaigning depends on research and publicity, communicated by the Foundation through frequent media releases, the Web and the Colong Bulletin - its bi-monthly newsletter. The Foundation is voluntarily funded and, with the exception of our two executive officers, is entirely dependent on voluntary workers. As such, we need your help. Please consider becoming a member and/or donor. By supporting the Colong Foundation you will be helping to ensure that our efforts to preserve and expand wilderness areas will continue. Donations are tax-deductible.

Give wilderness a lasting legacy: make a bequest to the Colong Foundation.

The Law Society of NSW recommends the following words:

"I bequeath the sum of $__________ to the Colong Foundation for Wilderness Ltd. for its general purposes and declare that the receipt of the treasurer for the time being of the Colong Foundation for Wilderness Ltd. shall be complete discharge to my executors in respect of any sum paid to the Colong Foundation for Wilderness Ltd."

Making a bequest is one of the best ways of leaving a wilderness legacy for future generations. The Foundation has produced a booklet to explain all the options and to make the job easier. Legacy for Wilderness describes five means of making a bequest, and is available to our supporters by contacting the Colong Foundation office.

Before making a bequest, the Foundation recommends you seek advice from a lawyer.
