DESCRIPTION

Dundas is an area of flat plains, low hills and granite outcrops. Salt lakes
occur throughout the ara. Proterozoic granites, gneis and migmatite underlie
most of the area and significant areas of Quaternary sediments also occur here. [1]

Vegetation within the area mainly consists of mallee woodlands and scattered
heath. [2]

Fauan within the area might be expected to be typical of the Goldfields region,
but with a higher proportion of desert species than areas further to the east. [3]
