ENDNOTES
1
This area comes from Wilderness Society, 1990, "Wilderness Special Investigation
Descriptive Report Submission to the Land Conservation Council".

2
The entire area is within the Alpine National Park.

3
Land Conservation Council, 1991, "Wilderness Special Investigation Final
Recommendations" identified two wilderness areas within Rodger-Snowy. These are
Snowy River (27,000 ha) and Bowen (17,500 ha). Deddick Trail, a four wheel drive
track, prevented the amalgamation of the two areas.
