DESCRIPTION
This is a region of strongly folded and faulted sediments, wit inter-bedded
volcanics. Many of the streams drain towards the Frew River, to the north-east.
Waterholes, some of which are permanent, abound in the area.

Vegetation consists of Acacia open woodland dominated by species such as
Eucalyptus leucopholia and mulga (Acacia aneura) with a grass laer of spinifex
(Triodia spp.) River red gum (E. camaldulensis) and Melaleuca spp. dominated
vegetation along stream lines. [2]
