DESCRIPTION
The Cox area is undulating country based on Proterozoic, Cambrian and Mesozoic
sediments. [1]
The Cox River flows in a north-easterly direction through the area to Limmen
Bight, while the Arnold River drains the north-west section to flow into the
Hodgson River. [2]
Vegetation within the area consists mainly of eucalypt woodland dominated by
Western Box (Eucalyptus argillacea), Inland bloodwood (E. terminalis) and
variable-barked bloodwood (E. dichromophloia), with a grassy understorey in
rocky areas. [3]
