To protect parks and wildlife from attack, environment and animal rights groups have formed the Parks and Native Animal Protection Coalition.

Media reports suggest the NSW Government has made an offer to allow hunting in 13 national parks in exchange for the support of the two Shooters Party MPs in the NSW Upper House to help pass government legislation and block damaging Upper House inquiries, such as the damaging Planning Inquiry.

National parks are a refuge for native animals. They deserve the highest order of protection. The Shooters' Party is only interested in protecting its own interests, not conservation or the greater public good.

Killing native wildlife should never be a form of recreational pleasure. Only the power of public opposition will remove this legislation from the negotiating table.

Please email the following MPs and express your strong opposition to any deal that would allow shooting in national parks:
Premier Nathan Rees - thepremier@www.nsw.gov.au
Environment Minister John Robertson - office@robertson.minister.nsw.gov.au
Opposition Leader Barry O'Farrell - LOP@parliament.nsw.gov.au
Shadow Environment Minister Catherine Cusack - catherine.cusack@parliament.nsw.gov.au Christian Democrat, Fred Nile - F.Nile@parliament.nsw.gov.au
Independent, Gordon Moyes - gordon.moyes@parliament.nsw.gov.au

Don’t let National Parks be ruined by political deals or fast buck schemes.

While the NSW Government is wavering over the Shooters Party’s plans for hunting in national parks, less well known, but just as worrying, are plans for private commercial developments in national parks. ‘Green tape’ must not be cut to facilitate development in our national parks.

the Government has not asked the community if they want hunting or commercial development in national parks.

We have to tell them national parks are for nature, loud and clear.
Join us, together we can protect our precious national parks for nature and our kids.
