To view these spectacular images, just click on the name. Binghi - a diverse granite dome stands high on the edge of the Western Slopes. Lost World Wilderness - Antarctic Beech rainforest clothe the highest parts of the Lost World wilderness along the McPherson Range. Bald Rock Wilderness - Bald Rock is a proposed wilderness that sits on the Queensland/NSW border. Nightcap National Park - Saving Terania Creek was just the start of a ten year campaign to save the NSW rainforests Broken Head Nature Reserve - One of the most scenic places on the far North Coast Hat Head National Park - Contains the only unmined dune system on the North Coast. Guy Fawkes Wilderness - The Bicentennial (horseriding) Trail runs along the western edge of this river, cutting the wilderness in half. Guy Fawkes Wilderness - Some local farmers support feral horses in this wilderness to the detriment of native flora and fauna. Guy Fawkes, Bees Nest - Bees Nest is a prominent Guy Fawkes landmark. Cathedral Rocks Wilderness - The Woolpack Rocks form part of the skyline of the Cathedral Rocks wilderness. Kaputar Wilderness - The spectacular Kaputar wilderness. Kaputar Wilderness - Spectacular rock formations of the Kaputar wilderness. New England - Misty temperate rainforest. Macleay Gorges - Grass trees on a high ridge above Apsley River Valley near Green Gully. Macleay River - View of Tabletop Mountain 1131m from the tops above Blue Mountains Creek. Werrikimbe Wilderness - Upper Forbes - The Forbes River drops steeply from the Northern Tablelands through the World Heritage listed Werrikimbe wilderness. Werrikimbe Wilderness - Upper Hastings - The Hastings River in the Werrikimbe wildernesss flows through a deep gorge. Yuraygir - The largest coastal national park in NSW protects many stunning beaches and headlands. Barrington Wilderness - Frost covered swamp grass at the head of the Barrington River. Colo Gorge - Misty Morning on Boorai Ridge above the Colo Gorge. Wollemi Wilderness - Dunns Swamp is a popular camp site near Kandos. Grose Wilderness - The Grose wilderness is one of the most dramatic gorge and canyon landscapes in NSW, and is now part of our World Heritage. Grose Wilderness - The Grose wilderness viewed from Rigby Head. It is only 55 kilometres from Sydney and is the birthplace of wilderness conservation in Australia. Grose Wilderness - Hanging Rock, upper Grose Valley. Kanangra Boyd Wilderness - Looking east toward Mount Cloudmaker over Kanangra Deep in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. Royal National Park - The sandstone cliffs - part of the dramatic coastline of our oldest national park Royal National Park - Rock platform Budawang Wilderness - Mt Mooryan part of the Monolith Valley in the popular Budawang Wilderness Ettrema Gorge - Shoalhaven River and its tributaries are flanked by a continuous sandstone cliffline. Murramarang National Park - Spotted Gum and cycad forests in Murramarang National Park, near Batemans Bay. Monga - Plumwood and tree ferns clothe the Mongarlowe River headwaters. Deua Wildernesss - The scenic Deua River is the central feature of the largest unprotected forest wilderness in NSW. Wadbilliga River - The Wadbilliga should be reserved as a wild river. Brogo Wilderness - Kybeyan Range looking into the Brogo Gorge. Goodradigbee Wilderness - Late snowfall (October) in the Goodradigbee wilderness. Goodradigbee Wilderness - The Scabby Range in the Goodradigbee wilderness. Bogong Peaks - Big Plain Peak from Mount Jounama. Jagungal Wilderness - Jagungal Wilderness contains Australia's highest peaks but is threatened by tourism development. Main Range - Dramatic granite rocks near Rams Head . Main Range - Sunrise on Mt Townsend Tantawangalo National Park - Tantawangalo Creek. Coolangubra Wilderness - Coolangubra wilderness on the edge of the Monaro Tableland was finally reserved as a national park in 1998 after a 20 year struggle. Ben Boyd - The dramatic coastline of Ben Boyd National Park. Nadgee Wilderness - Nadgee Nature Reserve on the NSW/Victorian border is the state’s largest coastal wilderness. |
