About 15ML/day are currently pumped to the Wallerawang powerstation from this holding tank via a pipeline. |
 This discharge to the Wolgan River is now only used when the mine is wet. |

 A further 15 ML/day are pumped into the Wollangambe River from the dam, left. |
Coal miners discharge polluted water that flows into the World Heritage Area or pump the salty, metal rich water to cool our expensive coal fired power stations that are costing the earth.
